All the more this company deserves that its history and products are documented and preserved by its own website from its origins in the Sudetenland, through the expulsion, the re-establishment in Germany after Second World War, to the company's dissolution in 1987.

Since the history of this family company has always been closely linked to the history of the family itself, this is given special consideration on the following pages.

Therefore the following pages show the history of the company and its founders as well as the products manufactured and photos of some TROMSA drummers.

Unfortunately, as a result of a devastating fire in the factory in the summer of 1981, most of the historical instruments and photos, documents, catalogs and product photos were irretrievably destroyed by fire and extinguishing water.

We are all the more pleased about the many lovers and collectors of our products in many countries.
